Full job description

We are currently hiring for an experienced COP Assembler for our client in Mississauga for the afternoon shifts Perform assembly of operating panels by referencing related CAD schematics and drawings.

Working Hours:
Afternoons: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm to 1:00am and Friday 3:30pm to 12:00

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of experience in assembly work
At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience (custom production or electrical)
Read schematics and drawings
Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform complex assemblies
Medium to highly detail-oriented
Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred
Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)

Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

Correctly identify components and accurately interpret assembly drawings
Assemble products within specified period of time.
Utilize manual hand and power tools efficiently.
Effectively inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices
Identify non-conformances.
Complete shop records accurately.
Demonstrate low absenteeism and punctuality.
Communicates well with colleagues and team leader.
Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
Detail-oriented and accurate in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Other duties as assigned.
