Job Description

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting / Billing Clerk to support our accounting and invoicing operations. The successful candidate will assist with billing, accounts receivable, data entry, and general accounting duties.

Responsibilities

Prepare customer invoices and billing statements
Verify shipment and billing information for accuracy
Process accounts receivable and payment records
Perform data entry and maintain accounting files
Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices
Assist with month-end reporting and administrative tasks
Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries

Requirements

Previous accounting or billing experience preferred
Knowledge of invoicing and accounts receivable procedures
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Experience in transportation or freight industry is an asset

Schedule

Full-time
Monday to Friday
