Overview of the opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Business Diversification, Insight Health Solutions, the Project Coordinator will work with the business development team to support new business initiatives and execute on tasks which will drive program build or project execution. Coordination of program deliverables, business analysis and metrics related to accelerating business diversification efforts provincially and nationally.
Here’s what you’ll get to do:
- Support and collaborate with the broader business development team in the identification of new business opportunities and the development of new clinical programs, including:
- Performing market analyses and data gathering
- Organizing and leading Needs Assessments and other opportunities to gather information and inform the business development team.
- Creating decks to support business presentations.
- Tracking of business activities aligned with goals and objectives and next steps.
- Working with clinical SMEs to obtain necessary information and support new program building.
- Participate in campaign follow-ups through prospect reachouts.
- Mine RFP platforms for suitable new business opportunities
- Participate in response efforts from a coordination and content perspective.
- Oversight and coordination of team and work responding to competitions.
- Gathering of applicable internal information.
- Relationship development where applicable with customer procurement reps.
- Preparing Communications, Briefings, Presentations & Reports
- Ensure creation and delivery of monthly new business scorecard, including preliminary analysis, leveraging business acumen and writing, to create reports, presentations and other documents for both internal and external use.
Supporting external communications with Marketing team members e.g., website, social media.

Work with assigned Project Manager to enable Project Planning, Scope & Requirements
- Gather and document requirements
- Identify tasks and dependencies , durations
- Build a project timeline or schedule with defined m ilestones
- Assign responsibilities
- Estimate resource availability
- Estimate costs (labor, tools, materials)
- Create financial projections and budget
- Identify risks
- Set up project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- Create project repository (documents, templates)
- Set up communication channels
- Participation in conference and networking events
- Ambassador for THP at the above as may be requested
- Ensure provision of all marketing collateral, booth materials and giveaways for events
- Oversee data base of contacts, follow up activities.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree, ideally in business, life sciences, health informatics or related discipline required
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare work experience in a coordination capacity required, preferably in the private healthcare sector, required.
- Healthcare sales and marketing experience preferred.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Minimum 3 years of administrative, coordinator and/or project management/coordination experience.
- Excellent project management/coordination skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal leaders and teams as well as external customers.
- Ability to quickly build relationships across diverse groups, internal and external to THP.
- Comfortable working in high pressure, fast-paced environment with competing tasks and priorities.
- Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, self-direction and ability to multitask, and ability to prioritize work.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills to interpret information and identify areas that require further investigation.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to meet timelines and accomplish goals.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel when required between THP, partner sites and customer locations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
