Artco has nearly 40 years’ experience in manufacturing case goods, upholstered furniture, and millwork for the hospitality industry across North America. Artco specializes in high-end custom furniture for luxury hotels and is part of the Chervin group of companies which also provides high-end custom residential cabinetry, residential furniture, and home décor.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Assist our team in applying foam/dacron/low melt on various upholstered furniture pieces
Assist with applying the specific fabric/leather on headboards, bed rails, wall panels, cushions, etc.
Occasionally custom upholstered units are required. This requires preparing patterns and more detailed upholstery knowledge.
Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Understanding of fabric/leathers in the upholstery process
Knowledge of various upholstery techniques, from simple panel wrapping to ability to upholster chairs/couches etc.
Skills in CNC fabric cutting/sewing machines an asset though not required.
A keen attention to detail
A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work

A commitment to punctuality and dependability
BONUS: 2+ years general wood working or upholstery experience
