Courtyard by Marriott Brampton is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of The Bistro, Banquet Department, Market, and all Food & Beverage outlets. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, guest-focused leader who is committed to delivering exceptional service while driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Lead the day-to-day operations of The Bistro, Banquet Department, Market, and all Food & Beverage outlets.
Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop Food & Beverage associates.
Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
Maintain Marriott brand standards and ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Oversee banquet operations, ensuring the successful execution of meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.
Manage labour scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and departmental expenses while maintaining cost controls.
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sales team to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, payroll approval, and financial reporting.
Support departmental initiatives that improve guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety standards, Smart Serve regulations, and applicable legislation.
Perform Manager-on-Duty responsibilities as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in Food & Beverage within a hotel environment.
Previous Marriott experience is considered a strong asset.
Experience managing banquet operations and high-volume food service.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Experience with scheduling, labour management, inventory control, purchasing, and budgeting.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Smart Serve Certification (or ability to obtain).
Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with hotel POS and PMS systems is considered an asset.
Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business levels require.
