Our retail locations, including Islington Nurseries Stone yard and Islington Nurseries Garden Centre & Florist, provide top-quality products and services to homeowners and landscape professionals across the GTA.
Summary

We are seeking a skilled 310 T Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Islington Nurseries Ltd. This role is vital in maintaining our fleet of heavy equipment used in landscape and construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a reputable company dedicated to quality and excellence.

Responsibilities:

· Able to repair our equipment - such as diesel trucks, pick-up fleet, bobcat, loader, Kubota

· Knowledge of heavy (OFF ROAD) machinery maintenance: bobcats, excavator, loader, etc

· The diagnosis of equipment problems; identifying and replacing, as required, worn or broken parts, making all necessary adjustments and alignments

· Complete all tasks assigned and maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work

· Able to execute repairs according to manufacturer specifications

· Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and comply with all safety regulations

· Apply preventative maintenance to keep our equipment running

Requirements:

· Have a minimum 3 to 5 years experience as a licenced 310T mechanic

· Able to diagnose and repair equipment

· Able to work alone in our designated shop and be a team player

· Able to work under pressure and be efficient and organized

· Be professional, courteous with a time sensitive attitude to keep things rolling

· Knowledgeable with all mechanic tools

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

310 T License (required)
