Grocery Stocker

Food World Plus
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

In-Office | Mississauga, ON, Canada

Food World Plus is looking for reliable and detail-oriented Grocery Stockers to join our team in Mississauga. In this role, you will ensure shelves are fully stocked, products are properly rotated, and the store remains clean, organized, and customer-ready. You will work closely with team members to maintain inventory accuracy while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves and displays according to company standards and planograms.
Rotate products using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness.
Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low-stock items.
Receive, organize, and replenish merchandise in the sales floor and backroom.
Operate barcode scanners and process stock transfers accurately.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Set up promotional and seasonal displays.
Assist customers by locating products and answering basic questions.
Report damaged, expired, or missing merchandise promptly.
Follow all company safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily stocking and store goals.

Qualifications

Previous grocery, retail, warehouse, or stocking experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to assist shoppers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
