About this opportunity
If you are a dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals, supported by one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada. As a part time Rehabilitation Assistant at our Moncton Driscoll clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the clinicians with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.
Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day
- Act as a liaison between the client and the clinicians
- Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads
- Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage
- Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
- Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
- Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families
- Administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents
- Uploading service provider reports
What you need to be successful
- A Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset
- The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
