The Company

Thermo King is the world leader in transport temperature control systems for trucks, trailers, buses, rail cars and shipboard containers. Thermo King also manufactures auxiliary power units, which dramatically reduce engine idling. All Thermo King products are backed by a nationwide dealer network, which provides expert factory-trained service and a complete line of genuine and competitive parts.

Position: Shipper Receiver

Location: Thermo King Eastern Canada – Moncton NB

Reports to: Parts Manager

Primary Focus:

The Shipper Receiver will serve as primary support to the parts department and technicians in this fast past industry, taking important considerations for the sensitive time and temperature needs.

Responsibilities:

Receive stock, pick orders and ship inventory items accurately and quickly
Monitor backorders
Coordinate with inventory to place parts orders
Monitor inventory levels
Conduct shipping and receiving duties as required
Package orders
Track shipment
Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and yard as required
Receive and stock parts for the shop and service vehicles
Support technicians and service advisors in securing required parts in order to complete work orders

Education/Professional Development Requirements:

Post Secondary Diploma is an asset

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience with warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
Forklift license

Behavioral Competencies Required:

Must be personable and proficient
Must maintain a high level of professionalism
Ability to communicate and respond in an effective and professional manner
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to use judgment and tact when dealing with general inquiries
Superior Customer Service Skills
Ability to handle a high volume of work in fast-paced challenging environment

Forklift
Proficient in MS Office
Accurate data entry
Retail experience
Basic Mechanical understanding
