We are OPEN and accepting applications for Licensed Mechanics, 310T

Frigid Rentals Inc. is a locally owned company that has been servicing the transportation industry for over 20 years while building and maintaining trusted and valued relationships with our customers. We have locations in Vars, Moncton, Johnstown and the GTA. As a result of our continuous growth and success, we are currently seeking Truck & Coach (310T) Mechanics to work out of our Moncton (Salisbury) location.

Job Duties

Perform repairs and service on van bodies, trailers, roll up and barn doors
Perform repairs on tailgates and ramps
Perform safety checks and inspections on trucks and trailers
Perform preventative maintenance on trailers
Assist in the installation and replacement of various transportation equipment components
Read schematics
Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
Ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools
Mark, record, and report defective products
Other tasks assigned by the supervisor or management

Job Requirements

310T Licensed Mechanic

Work Conditions

Exposure to hazards associated with the industry/trade
Use of required personal protective equipment
Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment
Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions
Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50 kilograms

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
