Bring Live Events to Life

Are you creative, organized, bilingual, and energized by live events? We are looking for a Bilingual Marketing Coordinator to help tell our story, connect with our audiences, and create excitement around the unforgettable experiences happening at our venue.

About the Avenir Centre

Located in the heart of downtown Moncton, the Avenir Centre is a premier sports and entertainment venue that brings the community together through exciting live events, exceptional hospitality, and memorable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

Assist with the creation and distribution of bilingual content in English and French for social media, the website, email campaigns, in-venue communications, graphics, sales collateral, and other promotional materials.
Work closely with the Events and Marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive ticket sales, increase audience engagement, and support new revenue opportunities.
Coordinate marketing activities with the corporate marketing team and ensure alignment with established brand standards and campaigns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital content and assist with general inquiries received through the website, social media, email, and other communication channels.
Provide administrative and coordination support across departments based on operational needs.
Track and report on marketing activities and campaign performance.
Create marketing graphics using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and other approved tools.
Organize and support media, social content, and communications activities during events, as required.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism, collaboration, positivity, and professional appearance.

What You Bring

Fluency in spoken and written English and French is required.
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website content management systems.
Strong writing, proofreading, editing, and content-development skills in both English and French.
Excellent time-management, organizational, administrative, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, guests, partners, and corporate teams.
Ability to work independently and contribute positively within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Creativity, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn and use evolving marketing technologies and AI tools.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the event schedule.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
One to three years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, events, administration, or a related environment.
Experience working in live events, entertainment, hospitality, or a fast-paced venue environment is considered an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is an on-site position based at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Work is performed in an office setting, throughout the venue, and at off-site events, as needed.
The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
During events, the employee may work in busy, crowded, and high-energy environments with elevated noise levels.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described below are representative of those typically required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Regular use of a computer and other office equipment.
Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
Ability to move throughout the venue and attend off-site events, as needed.
Occasional lifting or moving of marketing materials, equipment, or supplies.
Ability to work in busy event environments that may involve crowds, elevated noise levels, and extended periods of standing or walking.
