Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This dual-role position involves providing exceptional guest services during evening hours and ensuring the smooth operation of front desk activities overnight. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve diverse guests. This role is vital in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the hotel's reputation for outstanding hospitality.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check-in, and check-out, ensuring a seamless guest experience
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with professionalism and courtesy
Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests
Handle guest complaints or issues promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Maintain detailed records of guest transactions and reservations using hotel management software
Perform night audit procedures, including balancing accounts, preparing reports, and reconciling daily financial transactions
Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring the premises during night hours
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence as needed
Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism at the front desk area

Experience

Previous experience in front desk operations or hotel reception is preferred; knowledge of the Opera PMS system is a bonus. Training will be provided for qualified candidates
Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
Experience with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is advantageous
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse clientele
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and hotel procedures is a plus
Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism

Pay: $17.22 per hour
