Full job description

We are growing our team and seeking a Full-Time Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator for our office in Mono, ON.

The Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for processing all incoming customer orders via phone, email and web, arranging all incoming and outgoing shipments, working with all departments to ensure timely product movement. This position will require the candidate to correspond with customers and shipping companies on a daily basis. The role will require the ability to multi task as well as work in a team environment but also independantly. This role will also assist with administrative duties for the company.

Job Duties of the Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
Provide customers with shipment status, delivery information, and other order-related assistance.
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, purchasing, and other internal departments to resolve customer issues.
Develop positive and professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and transportation providers.
Coordinate domestic, U.S., and international shipments from order through delivery.
Prepare and review shipping documentation, commercial invoices, packing slips, customs documentation, and related paperwork.
Track shipments and proactively follow up on delays or delivery issues.
Obtain freight quotes and select appropriate shipping methods and carriers.
Ensure shipments are properly packaged, labelled, documented, and scheduled.
Maintain accurate shipping and logistics records.
Determine and verify appropriate HS/tariff classification codes for products.
Understand the application of customs duties, taxes, country-of-origin requirements, and other import/export considerations.
Work with customs brokers and carriers to resolve customs documentation or clearance issues.
Stay current with changes affecting Canadian and U.S. customs requirements and tariff classifications.
Provide general administrative support to the office and management team.
Assist with data entry, filing, document preparation, and maintaining company records.
Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, order processing, and other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, customer service, or office administration.
Knowledge of Canada–U.S. customs procedures and cross-border shipping requirements.
Experience with HS/tariff classification codes and the ability to accurately classify products.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and courteous telephone manner.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member.
