Description du poste

Lieu : Saint-Laurent, à proximité de Laval et Westmount

Une entreprise dynamique et en pleine croissance qui cherche actuellement à ajouter à son équipe un comptable expérimenté, motivé, bien organisé et soucieux du détail.

Les responsabilités comprennent, sans s'y limiter :

1. Rapports financiers et conformité :

a. Assurez-vous d'une préparation exacte et rapide des états financiers.

b. Assurez-vous que tous les échéanciers du bilan et des comptes de résultat sont préparés.

c. Vérifiez tous les rapprochements (banque, fournisseurs, interentreprises)

d. Assurez-vous que tous les montants interentreprises sont enregistrés par des factures/notes de débit appropriées et que les annulations sont effectuées en émettant des notes de crédit.

2. Superviser les opérations comptables quotidiennes

a. Vérifiez que toutes les factures des fournisseurs sont saisies immédiatement et avec précision dans QBO.

b. Demande des relevés des fournisseurs incluant les comptes fournisseurs, comptes clients, paie et activités du grand livre général.

3. Assurez-vous de la clôture rapide et précise des livres mensuels, trimestriels et annuels. Révision des transactions et rapprochement des informations de compte. Préparer ou superviser la préparation de rapports périodiques.

4. Gérez la conformité fiscale, y compris l'impôt sur les sociétés, la taxe de vente et les taxes sur la paie. Optimisation de la position fiscale de l'entreprise et collaboration avec des conseillers fiscaux externes au besoin.

5. Superviser la planification des flux de trésorerie et gérer la liquidité. Assurez-vous de maintenir les paiements planifiés et la collecte rapide des créances.

6. Mettre en œuvre et surveiller les contrôles internes pour protéger les actifs de l'entreprise et assurer l'efficacité des opérations financières. Évaluez et améliorez continuellement les processus financiers pour leur efficacité et leur exactitude.

7. Collaborez avec la haute direction en planification stratégique, en fournissant des analyses financières et des scénarios pour soutenir les objectifs d'affaires à long terme.

8. Assurez-vous de respecter les règlements financiers et les normes applicables. Préparez les dépôts réglementaires et les divulgations selon les exigences des instances dirigeantes.

9. Collaborez avec les équipes financières et opérationnelles pour élaborer des budgets, des prévisions et des modélisations financières. Fournir une analyse approfondie des données financières afin d'éclairer les stratégies d'affaires et les initiatives décisionnelles.

10. Coordonnez-vous avec les vérificateurs et traitez rapidement toute constatation d'audit.

11. Connaissance du logiciel Yardi et gestion des propriétés.

12. Bonne compréhension du secteur immobilier et processus comptable complet.

13. Expérience dans la gestion des demandes de la haute direction.

14. CPA/CA ou un diplôme équivalent est un avantage supplémentaire.

Job description

Location: Saint-Laurent, à proximité de Laval et Westmount

A dynamic and fast-growing company currently looking to add an experienced, motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented bookkeeper to its team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

a. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

b. Ensure all the schedules to balance sheet and P & L are prepared.

c. Verify all the reconciliations (bank, vendors, intercompany)

d. Ensure all the intercompany amounts are booked through proper invoices/debit notes and reversals are made by issuing credit notes.

2. Supervise daily accounting operations

a. Verify all the vendors invoices are entered immediately and accurately in QBO.

b. Requesting vendors statement including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

3. Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books. Reviewing transactions and reconciling account information. Preparing or supervising the preparation of periodic reports.

4. Manage tax compliance, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll taxes. Optimization of company tax position and collaboration with external tax advisors as needed.

5. Oversee cash flow planning and manage liquidity. Ensure maintenance of scheduled payments and timely collections of receivables.

6. Implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure efficient financial operations. Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes for efficiency and accuracy.

7. Partner with senior leadership in strategic planning, providing financial insights and scenario analysis to support long-term business objectives.

8. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Prepare regulatory filings and disclosures as required by governing bodies.

9. Collaborate with the finance and operation teams to develop budget, forecasts, and financial modeling. Provide in-depth analysis of financial data to inform business strategies and decision-making initiatives.

10. Coordinate with auditors and address any audit findings promptly.

11. Knowledge of Yardi software and managing the properties.

12. Good understanding of Real Estate business and complete accounting process.

13. Experience of handling the queries of top management.

14. CPA/CA or equivalent degree an added advantage.

As per Montreal’s publishing method, that salary is negotiable based on clearing the test and interview.
