Ce poste offre une excellente opportunité pour un candidat qui recherche un environnement dynamique et stimulant ! Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Formateur(e) de Chauffeurs. Relevant directement de la Gérante, Conformité et Recrutement, le Formateur(e) de Chauffeurs sera responsable de former les nouveaux chauffeurs et propriétaires-exploitants, tout en veillant au bon déroulement de la conformité. Le candidat idéal possède une solide expérience en formation, combinée à une expertise dans l’industrie du transport.
Principales responsabilités :
- Former les nouveaux chauffeurs et propriétaires-exploitants (en classe et sur la route)
- Agir en tant qu’administrateur et formateur ELD
- Examiner et corriger les fiches journalières ELD
- Mettre à jour et maintenir le matériel de formation, les documents et les rapports
- Tenir des réunions de suivi concernant les registres, les fiches d’inspection, les feuilles de route et les questions liées aux camions
- Inscrire les chauffeurs auprès des terminaux
- Fournir un soutien aux chauffeurs pour diverses problématiques, notamment liées aux téléphones, à Logirack, au système ELD et aux camions
- Participer à des salons de l’emploi et à des événements de recrutement
- Superviser les opérations des camions électriques, y compris la gestion des batteries et les rapports
- Aider au suivi du rendement des chauffeurs ainsi qu’à la gestion des accidents/incidents
Qualifications requises
- Bilingue (français et anglais)
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément et à respecter des échéanciers serrés
- Capacité à travailler efficacement sous pression
- Permis de conduire classe 1 valide avec un dossier de conduite impeccable
- Connaissance à jour des réglementations du transport et de la conformité des chauffeurs

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a dynamic and stimulating environment! We are currently looking for a Driver Trainer. Reporting directly to the Manager of Compliance and Recruitment, the Driver Trainer will be responsible for training new drivers and owner-operators while ensuring compliance processes are properly followed. The ideal candidate has strong training experience combined with expertise in the transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Train new drivers and owner-operators (in-class and on-road instruction)
- Serve as ELD administrator and trainer
- Review and correct daily ELD logs
- Update and maintain training materials, documents, and reports
- Conduct follow-up meetings regarding logs, inspection sheets, road sheets, and truck-related matters
- Register drivers at terminals
- Provide support to drivers on various issues, including phone, Logirack, ELD, and truck-related concerns
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events
- Oversee electric truck operations, including battery management and reporting
- Assist with driver performance monitoring and accident/incident management
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Up-to-date knowledge of transportation regulations and driver compliance requirements
