Our client is multinational leader in the renewable energy industry. They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their team!
About the Opportunity
o Prepares schedules and working papers to support tax preparation, estimated tax payments, and extensions and utility taxes.
o Prepares certain Canadian tax returns.
o Updates and maintains the thin capitalization model
- Canada Green Tax Incentives
o Works with Development teams to analyze and understand the appropriate tax incentives for each project.
o Gathers and analyzes financial information for reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
o Produces all SAP accounting system reports for use in the preparation of tax expense, taxes due, income tax returns, VAT, excise taxes and others
o Ensures compliance with tax policies and procedures
- Analyzes and appropriately responds to notices from taxing authorities throughout Canada.
o Manages all Canadian tax audits in different jurisdictions
o Liaise with various external government agencies as required
- Researches relevant topics as required
- Other duties as assigned - Various special tax projects.
About You-
Fluency in French to effectively operate in a French speaking work environment.

Five or more years of progressive tax experience, in Canadian Corporate Tax.

CPA designation (Canadian or international) is an asset.

Renewable energy industry experience, particularly wind and/or solar, is preferred.

Hands-on experience with SAP FI is preferred.
Salary Range
$105,000 - $119,000/year
