Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Supervisor to oversee daily bakery operations, ensure product quality, and lead our baking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, baking, and customer service, with a passion for creating delicious baked goods and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced bakery environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily bakery operations, including baking, food preparation, and packaging processes.
Oversee the production of baked goods such as cakes, pastries, bread, and other confections, ensuring consistency and quality.
Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain stock.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times.
Lead and motivate bakery staff, providing training on cake decorating, food handling, and safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area in accordance with health standards.
Assist with cake decorating and food presentation to meet customer specifications.
Coordinate with the management team to plan production schedules and meet customer demands.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.

Skills

Proven experience in baking, food preparation, and kitchen operations within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food presentation skills.
Experience in restaurant or bakery environments is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Leadership qualities with experience supervising or training staff members.
Familiarity with packaging processes for baked goods is a plus.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking and leading a team in delivering high-quality products while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.

Pay: $36.00-$36.50 per hour
