Full job description

B&C Transparent, located in St-Julie, is a leading distributor of materials for the glass railing and glass fencing industry.

We are currently looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Full-Cycle Bookkeeper who knows QuickBooks Online (QBO) extremely well and can independently manage daily accounting operations.

***This is NOT an entry-level position***

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Minimum 1 years of experience working in a Canadian CPA firm or public accounting firm.
A minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is mandatory.
Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and able to independently manage the full accounting cycle.
Able to independently prepare and file GST/HST and QST returns.
Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles, payroll, month-end, and year-end procedures.
Able to prepare year-end working papers and supporting schedules for the external CPA firm to complete the T2 Corporate Income Tax Return.
Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
Strong bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliation skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Fluent in English (French) for daily workplace communication.
