Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commis Comptable to join our finance team. This role is essential in supporting the company's accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and possess strong analytical skills to contribute effectively to our financial operations.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or Workday.
Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Assist with account analysis and budgeting activities to support financial planning.
Process payroll using systems like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, or UltiPro, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures in collaboration with the accounting team.
Utilize various accounting tools such as PeopleSoft, Data entry platforms, and other financial services software to streamline operations.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, and ADP.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation, and account analysis.
Experience with payroll processing and related systems like ADP or Ceridian.
Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately for budgeting and financial analysis.
Knowledge of financial services industry standards and practices.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
