Full job description

Who We Are:

Tenold Transportation is a flat deck carrier that has been operating in Canada for over 50 years. Being part of the Mullen Group, Tenold has infrastructure and assets to offer a wide range of transportation, cross dock, and warehousing solutions to its customers across Canada.

Position Overview:

The warehouse worker position entails monitoring and managing job statuses, coordinating with colleagues, receiving and processing deliveries, preparing orders, inputting data, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

Scan out materials using handheld scanners
Receive incoming courier deliveries and count the number of boxes received
Print out and prepare orders for the next day's pick-up
Respond to emails
Coordinate with the install coordinator to ensure all outstanding jobs are being handled appropriately
Input data into weekly or biweekly tracking systems to keep accurate records of job status and inventory
Ensure the working area is clean and safe for all employees
Input the number of jobs for the day into the job volume tracker to track daily progress
Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year warehousing experience
1 year of experience in scanning, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory records
Must be bondable
Good computer skills with some knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Google Share, SAP
Proficient in both verbal and written English and French

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

Aperçu du poste :

Le poste de commis d’entrepôt consiste à surveiller et gérer l’état des tâches, à coordonner avec les collègues, à recevoir et traiter les livraisons, à préparer les commandes, à saisir des données et à maintenir un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire, entre autres responsabilités.

Responsabilités :

Scanner les matériaux à l’aide de lecteurs portatifs
Recevoir les livraisons par messagerie et compter le nombre de boîtes reçues
Imprimer et préparer les commandes pour le ramassage du lendemain
Répondre aux courriels
Coordonner avec le coordonnateur d’installation afin de s’assurer que tous les travaux en cours sont traités adéquatement
Saisir les données dans les systèmes de suivi hebdomadaires ou bimensuels afin de maintenir des registres précis de l’état des travaux et des stocks
Veiller à ce que la zone de travail soit propre et sécuritaire pour tous les employés
Saisir le nombre de tâches de la journée dans l’outil de suivi du volume de travail afin de suivre les progrès quotidiens
Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe au besoin

Compétences et qualifications :

Minimum d’un an d’expérience en entrepôt
Un an d’expérience en numérisation, en inventaires cycliques et en tenue de registres d’inventaire
Doit être cautionnable
Bonnes compétences informatiques, avec une connaissance de certains programmes Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Share, SAP
Maîtrise de l’anglais et du français, à l’oral et à l’écrit

Horaire : de 7 h à 15 h 30, du lundi au vendredi
