Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role ranges between $28.3-$38.92, with eligibility for an incentive target of $1,200.00 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives.

The Service team provides comprehensive training and safety certifications. This role involves working remotely, onsite, or in-shop to inspect, service, repair, and ship various Grainger and customer safety products such as breathing apparatus, fall arrest equipment, gas monitors, torque wrenches, and chain hoists, etc. The position requires the ability to work at customer sites for extended periods or in-shop, depending on business and customer needs.
Job Responsibilities (You Will):
- Test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, documenting work and preparing estimates.
- Operate hand and power tools and maintain parts inventory for mobile units and shop.
- Manage product inventory, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
- Prepare and review shipping/receiving documentation using SAP, including rental equipment handling.
- Maintain an organized, clean work area and uphold company principles through teamwork and accountability.
- Participate in EHS (COR) program, observe safety regulations, and complete required training.
- Adapt to additional duties as business needs evolve.
Education/Experience (You Have):
- Due to the nature of this role, bilingualism (French fluency, basic knowledge of English) is a requirement.
- Strong time management, multitasking skills, and mechanical aptitude
- Obtain two manufacturer certifications within the first year (training provided by Grainger)
- Proficient with computer systems and software
- Strong math skills, self-motivated, team player attitude
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and hold a valid driver’s license (travel required ~50% of the time)
- Valid passport for occasional U.S. travel for training
This role requires visits to customer sites and adhering to customers’ health and safety regulations, including wearing PPE such as a hard hat, steel-toed boots, and, if necessary, an N95 mask (requiring clean-shaven or trimmed facial hair). Specific requirements will be outlined during recruitment.
This role may require you to attend customers’ sites and adhere to safety requirements in accordance with applicable health and safety legislation, as it relates to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) on certain customer sites. This may include: a hard hat; steel-toed safety boots, clean shaven or trimmed moustache/beard in order to wear a close-fitted N95 mask or other required PPE. Details of these requirements will be provided during the recruitment process.
Some customers may have alcohol and drug screening policies for on-site contractors and vendors. You may be required to submit to such customer screening procedures as and when requested as a condition of being permitted on such sites.
