Raison d’être du poste : Le/la titulaire est une personne polyvalente et à l’affût des dernières nouveautés en matière de logiciel de bureautique afin de réaliser le traitement de divers documents spécialisés dans le domaine juridique et administratif.

Supérieur immédiat : Ce poste relève de la Directrice, Services linguistiques.

Responsabilités clés :

Créer et modifier des documents par le biais du traitement de texte, de la numérisation ou autres méthodes;
Assurer la pleine satisfaction de la clientèle interne, principalement des traducteurs et des réviseurs;
Modifier les documents : mise en page, conversion de styles, indexation, etc.;
Participer à des projets de traduction en assurant le traitement préalable de certains documents;
Veiller à la vérification de certains documents avant leur livraison aux clients;
Remplacer à l’occasion les autres Adjointes, Services linguistiques avec la gestion des documents à traduire et la facturation des fournisseurs externes.

Formation et expérience exigées :

Diplôme d’études en secrétariat ou formation équivalente;
Minimum de deux (2) ans d’expérience pertinente;
Bonne connaissance du fonctionnement d’un service de traduction au sein d’un cabinet juridique
Certification Microsoft Office, un atout.

Qualités requises :

Bilinguisme, français et anglais (oral et écrit) compte tenu de la clientèle, des mandats et du rayonnement international du cabinet;
Connaissances avancées des logiciels de bureautique, notamment Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Outlook;
Excellent service à la clientèle;
Très bonne organisation du travail;
Souci du détail, autonomie et esprit d’équipe;
Capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique.

Job description: The successful candidate is a versatile individual who keeps abreast of the latest office automation software to process various specialized documents in the legal and administrative fields.

Immediate supervisor: This position reports to the Director, Linguistic Services

Key responsibilities:

Create and modify documents through word processing, scanning and other methods
Ensure the complete satisfaction of the internal clients, mainly translators and revisors
Modify documents: changes to formatting, styles and indexing
Participate in translation projects by pre-processing certain documents
Ensure quality control of documents before delivery to the client
Occasionally replace the other Linguistic Services Assistants with respect to file management and invoicing of external suppliers

Education and experience requirements:

Diploma in office automation or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Good knowledge of the functioning of a translation department within a law firm
Microsoft Office Certification, an asset

Qualifications:

Bilingual written and spoken (French and English) given the clientele, mandates, and international scope of the firm
Advanced knowledge of office automation software, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent client service
Organizational and priority management skills
Attention to detail, autonomy and team spirit
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
