Midtown est à la recherche d'un(e) massothérapeute qui veillera à ce que ses membres et ses invités vivent des expériences de spa luxueuses.

Le poste

Faisant partie intégrante de l’équipe du spa, le ou la massothérapeute est un(e) professionnel(le) qualifié(e), attentionné(e) et orienté(e) vers le bien‑être et la satisfaction de nos membres et invités. Il/elle considère la massothérapie comme une nécessité essentielle au maintien de la santé et au rétablissement physique, et adopte une approche thérapeutique axée sur l’évaluation des besoins individuels de chaque client. Il/elle maîtrise les tendances et techniques actuelles en massothérapie et contribue activement au succès du club en éduquant, recommandant et prescrivant des soins adaptés afin d’optimiser la récupération, la performance et le mieux‑être global de sa clientèle.

Responsabilités du massothérapeute :

Accueillir les membres et invités de manière professionnelle, chaleureuse et attentive, et établir une relation de confiance dès la première rencontre.
Évaluer les besoins physiques et les objectifs de bien‑être ou de rétablissement de chaque client à l’aide d’une consultation professionnelle.
Considérer la massothérapie comme un outil essentiel de prévention, de récupération et de maintien de la santé, et recommander des traitements adaptés aux besoins spécifiques de chaque client.
Prescrire et expliquer clairement des plans de soins personnalisés (fréquence, types de massages, suivis) afin d’optimiser les résultats thérapeutiques.
Offrir des traitements de massothérapie de haute qualité en utilisant des techniques actuelles, sécuritaires et éprouvées.
Vérifier régulièrement le confort du client pendant le soin et ajuster la pression, la technique ou l’approche au besoin.
Préparer, organiser et maintenir la salle de traitement (ambiance, éclairage, musique, équipements) pour assurer une expérience luxueuse et relaxante.
Maintenir des normes rigoureuses de propreté, d’hygiène et de sécurité dans les salles de traitement et les espaces du spa.
Gérer le linge, les déchets et le rangement de l’équipement à la fin de chaque service.
Collaborer avec les autres membres de l’équipe du spa et du club afin d’offrir une expérience cohérente et exceptionnelle aux membres.
Participer à la promotion des services de massothérapie et contribuer à l’atteinte des objectifs du département par une approche éducative et professionnelle.
Se tenir à jour sur les nouvelles techniques, tendances et meilleures pratiques en massothérapie.

Exigences concernant les massothérapeutes :

Diplôme d’une école de massothérapie reconnue.
Membre d’une association professionnelle permettant l’émission de reçus d’assurance.
Minimum d’un an d’expérience en massothérapie.
Approche thérapeutique axée sur le rétablissement, la prévention et le mieux‑être global.
Excellentes compétences en service à la clientèle et en communication.
Professionnalisme, sens de l’éthique, autonomie et souci du détail.

Midtown is looking for a Massage Therapist to ensure that members and guests have luxurious spa experiences.

The Position

As an integral part of the spa team, the Massage Therapist is a qualified, attentive professional dedicated to the well‑being and satisfaction of our members and guests. They view massage therapy as an essential component of health, recovery, and prevention, and take a therapeutic approach by assessing client needs and recommending the care necessary for optimal results. They stay current with massage therapy trends and techniques and actively contribute to the club’s success by educating clients on the benefits of massage and personalized treatment plans.

Massage Therapist responsibilities:

Welcome members and guests in a professional, warm, and attentive manner, establishing trust from the first interaction.
Assess each client’s physical needs and wellness or recovery goals through a professional consultation.
View massage therapy as an essential tool for prevention, recovery, and overall health, and recommend treatments tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Prescribe and clearly explain personalized treatment plans (frequency, types of massages, follow‑ups) to optimize therapeutic results.
Deliver high‑quality massage therapy treatments using current, safe, and proven techniques.
Regularly check client comfort during the session and adjust pressure, technique, or approach as needed.
Prepare, organize, and maintain the treatment room (ambience, lighting, music, equipment) to ensure a luxurious and relaxing experience.
Maintain strict standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in treatment rooms and spa areas.
Manage linens, waste disposal, and equipment storage at the end of each service.
Collaborate with other members of the spa and club team to provide a consistent and exceptional member experience.
Participate in promoting massage therapy services and contribute to departmental goals through an educational and professional approach.
Stay up to date with new massage therapy techniques, trends, and best practices.

Massage Therapist requirements:

Certificate or diploma from an accredited massage therapy school.
Current membership with a recognized professional association that allows insurance receipts to be issued.
At least one year of hands‑on massage therapy experience.
Strong focus on helping clients recover, prevent injuries, and maintain overall well‑being.
Excellent customer service and clear communication skills.
Reliable, professional, independent, and detail‑oriented.
