Kif Kif is a high end Mediterranean restaurant with a warm, magnetic energy. The space is clean but full of character. We want servers who understand how to make a connection with clients.

The Role
With speed and purpose, read a room, and deliver excellent service. Someone who knows how to make everyone feel at home. If you're all about customer service and have good energy , we're looking for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Serving clients and giving them the high end service
Reading the room and keeping the vibe right
Wine knowledge is a plus
Handling POS and processing payments smoothly while staying present with guests
Working closely with the bar and kitchen for service flow

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.
Uphold excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a upscale restaurant
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus, including basic food preparation techniques.
