About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Patternmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about garment construction and fit, highly organized, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves working closely with customers, fit technicians, and production teams to ensure high-quality garments from development through production approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify patterns using the PAD system
- Collaborate with seamstresses during sample development and fittings
- Measure and review samples before submission to customers
- Manage garment sizing and fit adjustments throughout the fit process
- Communicate professionally with customers and fit technicians via email and phone
- Prepare grading after approvals and finalize/review technical sheets in Excel before production
- Review, check, and approve pre-production (PP) samples prior to manufacturing
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer delivery timelines
- Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining strong attention to detail
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in patternmaking
- Strong proficiency in:
- PAD system
- Microsoft Excel
- Excellent understanding of:
- Garment construction
- Specifications
- Fit and grading
- Strong communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
