Job Posting: Part-Time Cosmetics / Customer Service Specialist

Pharmasave Ladysmith is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Cosmetics / Customer Service Specialist.

We are seeking an individual who possesses a genuinely positive team attitude, takes pride in their work, and consistently demonstrates excellence in Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a dual, vital role in our store, ensuring a smooth, pleasant, and beauty-focused experience for all our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Retail Cashier & Customer Service Duties:

Processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handling cash, debit, and credit transactions, including accurate balancing of the till at the end of a shift.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-store and cosmetics area.

Cosmetics Specialist Duties:

Providing professional, personalized, and friendly consultations to assist customers with skincare, makeup, and beauty selections.
Sharing deep product knowledge regarding ingredients, skin types, color-matching, and cosmetic trends to build customer trust.
Merchandising cosmetic displays, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring beauty testers are clean, hygienic, and well-presented.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in a fast-paced retail, cosmetics, or high-touch customer service environment is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—the ability to connect positively with customers and team members is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and identifying customer beauty needs.
A reliable and professional work ethic, with the flexibility to work various shifts, including some evenings and weekends.
