Full job description

Fredericton Contractors is looking for Skilled Carpenters – Framing & Finish Carpentry to join our team.

We are looking for experienced carpenters with strong hands-on skills in framing and/or finish carpentry. Our work is primarily multi-residential construction, along with a mix of commercial projects.

You do not need to be experienced in every area. If you are a strong framer, finish carpenter, or have solid experience in one or more of the areas below, we would like to hear from you.

If you’re an experienced carpenter working as a subcontractor, we’d like to hear from you as well.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your experience and skill set, your work may include:

Wood wall and floor framing
Window installation
Installation of pre-hung doors
Door casing and trim
Baseboard installation
Perform other carpentry duties as required

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated carpentry skills and construction experience
Strong experience in one or more of the tasks listed above.
Experience across multiple areas is an asset, but not required.
Residential, multi-residential, and commercial carpentry experience will all be considered
Red Seal, Certificate of Qualification, or completed apprenticeship block training is an asset, but not required
Able to work effectively as part of a crew and independently when required
Dependable, punctual, professional, and safety-conscious
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are assets, but not required

Total compensation package of $35–$45 per hour, based on experience and skill level
