Location: Boulevard Kitchen & Bar – Dieppe, NB
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate bartender who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys creating outstanding guest experiences.

Position Summary

As a Bartender, you are responsible for providing exceptional service to guests while preparing high-quality beverages with consistency and efficiency. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and supporting both the bar and dining room teams during service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
Deliver friendly, engaging, and professional service to every guest.
Recommend cocktails, wine, beer, and food pairings to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
Ensure all beverages are prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently.
Verify guest identification and follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
Support servers by preparing drinks promptly during busy service periods.
Complete opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to provide seamless service.

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience is preferred.
Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Smart Serve (or provincial responsible beverage certification) is considered an asset.
