We are seeking Healthcare Cleaning Attendants (Environmental Services Workers) to join the team at Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville (Carleton County).
These are casual positions, and the starting rate is $22.4525 per hour.
What you will do
As a Healthcare Cleaning Attendant, you will be responsible for keeping patient rooms and hospital areas clean and safe by mopping floors, cleaning carpets, and disinfecting surfaces, including washrooms, furniture, and equipment. This includes deep cleaning discharged patient rooms and making beds.
You’ll also handle garbage and recyclables. Other tasks might include moving and setting up furniture, and collecting soiled linens and restocking clean ones.
Who you are
You have a high school diploma, or a minimum of two years of directly related work experience. You can communicate in English at an Advanced level.
