Full job description

Pink Sushi & Teriyaki is a popular Japanese restaurant in Moncton, NB, serving fresh sushi, teriyaki, and other Japanese dishes. We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team!

Responsibilities:

- Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes to high standards

- Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet restaurant standards

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and sushi bar area

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

- Manage ingredient inventory and daily preparation

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak hours

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of sushi preparation experience required

- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi-making techniques

- Excellent attention to detail and food presentation skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

- Food safety certification is an asset

Compensation:

- $18.00/hour

- Full-time position
