Being a Driving Instructor isn’t for everyone. It’s one of the most challenging — and most rewarding — jobs you’ll ever do. You’ll be guiding students through one of the most important skills they’ll ever learn. You’ll teach them not only how to pass a test, but how to drive for life — safely, confidently, and responsibly.

What You’ll Do
- Provide professional in-vehicle driver training following Young Drivers’ proven curriculum.
- Coach students through their fears, mistakes, and successes with patience and care.
- Teach defensive driving techniques and real-world safety strategies.
- Maintain accurate student progress records and lesson reports.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with students, parents/guardians, and office staff.
- Represent the Young Drivers brand with professionalism and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a resident of Nova Scotia and hold a current Driver’s Licence.
- Ideally, you own a vehicle five years old or less. If the vehicle is older but in good condition both inside and out, YD will examine it to determine if it's acceptable.
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience at the class 5 "Full", with a clean driving record.
- No criminal record. Must provide Criminal Record check.
- Instructor’s license is acquired through the Young Drivers Instructor Training Course.
- Training Course is 4 Weeks in duration from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm EST. There is no cost to the applicants that are selected.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Driving: 5 years (required)
