Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, preparing and serving high-quality beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about food service, possesses excellent communication skills, and has previous experience in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while providing outstanding service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks following company standards.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling food items or snacks.
Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills in a busy environment.
Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety guidelines at all times.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred, with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
Previous boba experience with knowledge and familiarity of Filipino and Asian inspired drinks preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours smoothly.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Food Safe Level I
Flexible availability (including weekends)
