Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess/Busboy to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibilities include managing guest seating, assisting with food service, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hospitality skills and gain valuable experience in the food service industry.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide information about menu items when needed
Support food service staff by delivering dishes or beverages as directed
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing when necessary
Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality throughout all interactions
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all areas of the restaurant

Skills

Excellent guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Prior experience in serving, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for engaging with guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including seating procedures and basic food service practices
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences and eager to grow within the hospitality industry.

Pay: $16.00-$31.09 per hour
