Position Overview

The Marketing Lead, Loyalty & Customer Growth is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value across the retail fuel and convenience business operated by North Sun Energy – a limited partnership between North Atlantic and Petro-Canada. This role focuses on leveraging loyalty programs, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, and data-driven insights to enhance the customer experience, improve engagement, and maximize long-term customer value. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with analytical expertise to deliver targeted, personalized marketing initiatives that strengthen customer relationships and support overall business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of the company’s loyalty program strategy, ensuring alignment with marketing and company objectives.
Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track KPIs related to customer growth, retention, and engagement.
Develop targeted campaigns to re-engage inactive customers and strengthen brand loyalty.
Develop and manage customer segmentation strategies to support targeted marketing initiatives.
Leverage customer insights to refine messaging, offers, and experiences.
Continuously evaluate and enhance loyalty program performance to improve member engagement and satisfaction through new tools, technologies, and best practices.
Analyze campaign performance and customer data to generate insights and recommendations.
Stay informed of industry trends in loyalty programs, CRM, and customer engagement.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
4 - 6 years experience in a marketing, preferable in retail or convenience stores.
Experience in CRM, loyalty programs, and customer growth initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting customer data, campaign performance, and marketing metrics.
Demonstrated ability to develop segmentation and personalization strategies to drive engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
