Key Responsibilities

Adhere to and promote the company safety culture
Focus on the quality of design work in accordance with the project/Hatch procedures
Develop a good understanding of Hatch standards and industry best practice
Produce piping Material Take Offs (MTOs)
Develop a good understanding of piping systems and their applications
Design and drafting of piping/mechanical plant models using piping specifications and procedures, under supervision
Draft piping and components for P&IDs
Develop designs using vendor drawings, under supervision
Locate and select pipe supports with piping stress analyst input
Extract ISOs under supervision
Produce design deliverables including P&IDs under supervision.

Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma equivalent diploma from an accredited institution.
Ability to take instruction.
Proficient in an ‘industry standard’ 2D design package.
Experience of 3D equipment modeling and 3D piping design.
Working knowledge of piping components and materials.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
