Accounting and Payroll Administrator
Job description

1. About Us;

Terradyne is a manufacturer of armoured Military and Police vehicles, used for the protection of first responders under dangerous conditions. Since 2011 Terradyne has been setting the standard for vehicle capabilities and performance in these market segments providing superior protection from arms, innovative features such as skip shields, rams, gas rams, and remote door lock/unlock among others.

We are located on the line that divides Newmarket and Aurora with plenty of parking and a bus route out front.

2. Job Description;

Terradyne is looking for a motivated individual, to take charge of Accounting and HR needs.

The Employee is expected to;

o Conduct Bi weekly payroll (using ADP).

o Issue monthly attendance management reports.

o Assist employees with their questions regarding the Benefits program.

o Facilitate hiring and termination of employees in the payroll and benefits systems.

o Issue t4's and ROE's as required

o Submit WSIB forms and manage correspondence.

o Complete year end source deductions and returns

o Conduct bookkeeping activities (using SAGE).

o Conduct all accounts payable activities and execute cheque runs/wire transfers and EFT.

o Treasury management (foreign and domestic)

o Invoicing and A/R management.

o Monthend reconciliation

o HST return

3. Requirements;

· Previous experience in similar work (3 yrs)

· Previous experience with ADP Work Force Now.

· Good communication skills

· College degree in accounting

· A history of stability in an employment relationship.
