Full job description

Southlake Ford Lincoln is looking for a Internal Advisor/Dispatcher.

The Internal Advisor/Dispatcher is responsible for guiding the workflow through the shop and assigning the right tech to the right jobs. The Internal Advisor/Dispatcher is also responsible for ensuing the New and Used Car work orders are written and closed properly ensuring proper billing, tech hours and operation codes are used.

Job Duties:

Provide front-line customer service for the Service and Sales Department.
Work with Advisors, Sales staff and techs to address their questions or concerns.
Ensure that customer vehicles are adequately cared for and stay updated on the progress of their repairs.
Coordinate with service technicians, detailers and advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of vehicle repairs.
Complete a follow-up to Sales staff to ensure that sold vehicle are completed on time for delivery.
Providing repair recommendations and accurate estimates of repair costs and time required for repairs or maintenance.
Ensure high standards of satisfaction by addressing and resolving concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain records of all services performed and ensure that all documentation is complete.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Record and report tech hours to payroll and Service Management.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager/Fixed Operations Manager.

Successful Candidates Possess:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, Post-secondary education is preferred.
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Dispatcher or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and repairs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using automotive service software and other relevant computer applications.
Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
Knowledge of PBS/Reynolds an asset.
