Duties:
- Plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, meetings, weddings, and social gatherings
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
- Develop event proposals and budgets based on client needs
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for event services and products
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, accommodation, and audiovisual setup
- Coordinate event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
- Oversee event setup, including decor, seating arrangements, and signage
- Provide on-site coordination during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
- Ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members
- must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
