Position Summary
Bluewater Environmental Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Supervisor to oversee industrial, environmental, and emergency response projects throughout Ontario and across Canada as required.
The Project Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with client expectations and regulatory requirements. This position serves as the primary link between field crews, clients, subcontractors, and company management.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service. Due to the nature of our industry, work schedules may vary and can include evenings, weekends, holidays, travel, and emergency response call-outs.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate industrial cleaning, environmental, waste management, and emergency response projects.
· Lead field crews and subcontractors while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
· Conduct project planning, hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and pre-job meetings.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
· Coordinate equipment, personnel, materials, and subcontractors required for project execution.
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
· Prepare and submit project documentation, including field reports, timesheets, manifests, work orders, and safety records.
· Monitor project progress, labour utilization, and overall productivity.
· Assist with estimating, project scoping, and proposal development when required.
· Support emergency response projects and after-hours call-outs as required.
· Mentor and train field personnel while promoting Bluewater's safety culture and operational standards.
· Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews to ensure work is completed to company and client standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Preferred Experience
· Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in industrial services, environmental services, construction, marine, manufacturing, or a related field.
· Experience managing industrial cleaning, confined space entry, vacuum truck, hydro excavation, waste management, or environmental remediation projects.
· Experience coordinating multiple crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources.
· Experience working in regulated industrial environments, including steel, manufacturing, marine, energy, or municipal sectors.

· Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
Certifications Considered an Asset
· Confined Space Entry
· Working at Heights
· First Aid/CPR
· HAZWOPER or equivalent hazardous materials training
· Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness Training
· DZ or AZ Driver's Licence
· Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Zoom Boom Certifications
Physical Requirements
· Ability to work in a variety of industrial environments, including hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and confined work areas.
· Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators and supplied-air systems.
· Ability to perform field work and physically assist crews when required.
· Ability to travel and work extended hours as project requirements dictate.
