Job Overview

Join our vibrant culinary team as a Dessert / Kitchen Crew Member! In this energetic role, you will be the heartbeat of our kitchen, bringing sweet creations to life and ensuring every dish is crafted with precision and passion. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, baking, and customer service will help create memorable experiences for our guests. Duties

Prepare and assemble a variety of desserts, including crepes, waffles, pancakes and other sweet treats, with attention to detail and presentation.
Decorate desserts using cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and packaging baked goods for sale or delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Support the team in cooking and food handling activities across the kitchen to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
Package desserts efficiently for takeout or delivery, ensuring freshness and quality are preserved.
Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about menu items and assisting with product selections when needed.

Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and team spirit.
Basic kitchen experience including cooking, baking, packaging, and food industry knowledge is highly desirable.
Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
