Overview

Join our vibrant kitchen team as a Cook/Kitchen Hand and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! Whether you're working on prep, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, or assisting with dinner service, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our guests enjoy top-quality food and service. Duties

Assist in daily food preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal
Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and hygiene practices
Assist on the line during service as required
Plate and prepare menu items according to restaurant standards
Maintain proper food storage, rotation, and organization
Receive and store deliveries as needed
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment when required
Complete opening and closing duties
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, and work areas
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Support other members of the kitchen team during service and prep periods
Assist in other areas of the kitchen as operational needs require

Experience

Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and basic cooking skills is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices is highly valued
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail will set you apart
Previous professional restaurant or kitchen experience is required
Experience in prep, line cooking, garde manger, or a similar kitchen role is preferred
Strong basic knife skills and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment
Good understanding of food preparation, organization, and sanitation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Ability to take direction and work independently when needed
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to contribute to all areas of kitchen operations
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the role

This position requires flexibility and a willingness to assist wherever needed. While cooking and food preparation are key components of the role, all kitchen team members are expected to contribute to cleaning, dishwashing, organization, and maintaining an efficient workspace.
