DENTAL PRACTICE OPERATIONS MANAGER - $70,000 - $100,000

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Dental Operations Manager with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Do you excel in a collaborative setting, where you can apply your extensive dental expertise alongside your leadership abilities and patient-centered approach?

We are a privately owned, modern dental office located St. Catharines. Our practice specializes in comprehensive dentistry and prides itself on a familial atmosphere and commitment to cutting-edge technology. With a strong emphasis on office culture and delivering top-tier service, we're looking for a dedicated individual to lead our highly skilled team and uphold our esteemed reputation.

We are seeking a dynamic, upbeat Practice Operations Manager who is self-motivated and team-oriented. Your strengths lie in communication, leadership, and education. With a positive demeanor and excellent conversational skills, you're adept at discussing intricate treatment plans and fees with patients. You thrive in an environment where each day presents new challenges, leveraging your confidence in guiding and supporting both your team and patients. Proficiency with Abeldent and MaxAssist is a plus, and you're driven to consistently meet scheduling and performance targets. As the new Practice Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our distinguished reputation.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Thursday (8:45am – 5 pm), Fridays (8:45am - 2pm).

COMPENSATION:

Compensation of $70k to $100k will be commensurate with experience and skill level
Paid time off
Free dental work (except lab fees) for you and your immediate family
5 minutes from the QEW

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Directly managing and taking pride in maximizing the entire patient experience, from phone call to check-out
Helping the Owner incorporate SOP’s and new protocols to enhance efficiency and production
Working alongside and supervising front desk/business team associate(s) for administrative duties
Oversight and Management of KPI’s
Directly controlling the flow of the schedule with ongoing monitoring, to ensure production goals are met and exceeded
Supervision, coaching, and accountability of team members as it pertains to their KPIs, schedule management, and team interactions.
Completing weekly payroll through Payworks
Overseeing practice financials and accounts receivable.
Stimulate new patient growth by directly supporting marketing initiatives
Organizing and moderating regular one-on-one informal coaching sessions with team members as well as quarterly formal team meetings
Actively participating in yearly performance reviews of team members, organized by Practice Owner
Overseeing the inventory as well as the ordering process
Actively participating in weekly business meetings with Practice Owner
Gathering, evaluating, and reporting monthly metrics to Practice Owner
Managing and maintaining office budget as well as ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly collections goals are met and exceeded
Handling weekly bank deposits
Serving as liaison with equipment vendors and sales representatives
Maintaining CPR status as well as HIPAA and OSHA compliance for office and all team members
Overseeing and maintaining clinical facilities with awareness and enforcement of Public Health and RCDSO guidelines
Paying all bills in a timely manner
Management of license renewals as necessary
*Must have good attendance and commit to strong punctuality*
Must be willing to “jump in” and help with regular front-desk administrative duties as needed.
