Full job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Falls Chevrolet is looking for an experienced, motivated automotive professional to join our growing Used Vehicle Department in a unique hybrid role combining used vehicle sales and subprime finance.

This position will initially be approximately:

90% Used Vehicle Sales | 10% Subprime / Credit Management

But we're looking for someone who wants to build something.

As our subprime business grows, our goal is to develop this position toward approximately 50% Used Vehicle Sales / 50% Subprime Management.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys selling vehicles but wants to take the next step toward a management and finance-focused position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Sell from our large and diverse used vehicle inventory

· Work internet, phone and walk-in leads

· Build relationships with customers and generate repeat/referral business

· Assist customers who require alternative or subprime financing

· Work with lenders to structure and obtain approvals

· Follow up with credit leads and unsold opportunities

· Help develop our growing subprime department

· Work closely with our sales and finance management teams

· Help create processes to grow subprime leads, approvals and deliveries

· Gradually take on increased responsibility for the subprime operation as the department grows

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is:

· Experienced in automotive sales

· Strong with customers and relationship building

· Comfortable working leads by phone, text and email

· Organized and consistent with follow-up

· Interested in finance, credit and deal structure

· Hungry to grow beyond a traditional salesperson position

· Comfortable taking ownership of a developing department

· Positive, professional and team-oriented

Previous subprime or automotive finance experience is an asset, but the right attitude, sales ability and desire to learn are equally important.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

This isn't simply another sales position.

We're looking for someone who can sell cars today while helping us build a larger subprime business for tomorrow.

The right person will have the opportunity to grow with the department, take on additional responsibility and potentially transition into a much larger Subprime Management role as the business develops.

Job Requirements:

OMVIC certification is a must
A current and valid driver’s license
A minimum of one year experience in the car selling industry
Documentation and financial skills
Possessing basic knowledge and understanding of car depreciation, equity and values.
Telephone, communication and listening skills. Must be able to communicate and explain technical terminologies easily.
Must possess qualities, such as excellent negotiation and persuasive skills.

Pay: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
