Delivery Driver / Brand Ambassador

Niagara Oast House Brewers: are a small batch brewery located in Niagara-On-The-Lake, ON. Being situated in one of Canada’s most famed agricultural regions and as a pioneer in “Farmhouse-style” brewing, we remain steadfastly focused in creating premium beers that reflect both our land and our obsession for craft.

We are currently searching for an individual with a strong work ethic and ability to ensure safe, courteous and efficient beer deliveries to our customers across Southern Ontario. Reporting to the Sales Coordinator, this person will always work to put customers first at every opportunity and apply exemplary customer relation skills. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to contribute as Brand Ambassador on the road for one of Ontario’s fastest growing microbreweries.

Job Summary:

Our Delivery Driver is a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, ensuring safe, courteous, and efficient beer deliveries across Southern Ontario. Reporting to the Sales Coordinator, this role prioritizes customer satisfaction and applies excellent customer relations skills. As a Brand Ambassador for one of Ontario’s fastest-growing microbreweries, the right candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive the delivery vehicle to various accounts across Ontario.
Develop and follow efficient route schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Accurately record invoices, payments, and other necessary information on the daily truck route.
Maintain an accurate record of each route and delivery.
Follow keg return procedures by collecting and recording empty company kegs.
Safely load and unload cases and kegs of beer on and off the delivery vehicle.
Obtain required signatures upon delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide a comprehensive end-of-day route summary to the Sales Coordinator.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of draught systems for repair and maintenance.
Conduct monthly draft line cleanings for Oast House customers.
Adhere to Oast House Brewers' strict safety procedures.
Perform general maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including cleaning, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
Assist with the setup and tear-down of offsite Oast House events as required.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Class G Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Comfortable driving in the GTA, including downtown Toronto, once or twice a week.
Ability to repetitively lift over 150 pounds.
Smart Serve certification is legally required for this position.
Physically fit for the demands of the role.
Positive and professional attitude at all times.
Must be 25 years or older to be insurable.
Flexible with time and schedule, as market demands may change.
Ability to work independently once trained.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
