Applications are invited for the position of Integrated Student Health Administrative Coordinator in the Integrated Student Health Division, located at the Welland Campus, while also working at the DJP Campus when necessary. The starting hourly rate is $29.83/hr (Pay Band E - $29.83/hr to $34.42/hr) for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary. This is an Appendix D, temporary position as per Article 17.3.1 of the Support Staff Collective Agreement and is set to commence in June 2026 and will conclude January 4, 2028. It may be subject to an extension by mutual agreement of the parties.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Integrated Student Health, this role is responsible for managing the daily flow of information, assessing, coordinating, and directing administrative and operational activities, and supporting the effective functioning of the Integrated Student Health portfolio.
This position acts as a central coordination point for communication, workflow, and administrative processes across counselling, health services, and student wellness initiatives. In this position you will work within a complex, fast-paced, and evolving environment, and exercise sound judgment, initiative, and discretion in managing competing priorities and determining appropriate courses of action.

Prepares briefing materials, reports, correspondence, and presentations for the Senior Director, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and discretion

Tracks, analyzes, and synthesizes portfolio data and metrics; develops reports, dashboards, and materials to support operational, strategic, and Board-level decision-making

Maintains organized and accessible records systems to support efficient operations and effective information management

Coordinates and manages the Senior Director’s project-related meetings, including scheduling, organizing logistics, and preparing briefing materials

Monitors action items and deliverables, ensuring timely follow-up and alignment with portfolio priorities

Provides confidential administrative support for personnel functions, including tracking appointments, evaluations, professional development, attendance, and vacation planning

Performs reception and administrative support duties, including answering inquiries, and greeting visitors to provide backup coverage as needed

Serves as the central intake point for the portfolio, triaging inquiries and issues and determining appropriate routing and escalation

Supports coordination of complex or sensitive student wellbeing matters, ensuring proper documentation, escalation, and alignment with policies

Coordinates the administrative implementation of projects and strategic initiatives, including logistics, timelines, documentation, and stakeholder engagement

Minimum two (2) year diploma or similar in any field of study

Minimum three (3) years of practical experience, preferably in a high-traffic educational or adult-centered human service environment to have gained a broad knowledge base of diverse human conditions and situations

Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, excel, database management and data analysis

Ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing urgency, sensitivity, and risk to determine appropriate responses and escalation pathways in a fast-paced environment
