The ideal candidate is ambitious, dependable, organized, and eager to grow with a developing construction company. You should be comfortable handling a wide variety of renovation tasks, solving unexpected problems, communicating professionally with homeowners, and taking pride in the finished result.

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Protect clients’ homes, floors, furniture, and belongings

- Complete work to a high standard without cutting corners

- Previous experience in residential renovations, construction, maintenance, or a related trade
- Strong working knowledge of construction tools, materials, and installation methods
- Experience in several renovation areas rather than only one specialized task
- Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
- Ability to measure, plan, troubleshoot, and complete work independently
- Ability to recognize when something is incorrect before it becomes a larger problem
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle
- Own basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to transport tools and smaller materials between job sites
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to arrive prepared for work
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, kneeling, climbing, and working on ladders

- Experience communicating directly with homeowners
- Drywall taping and finishing experience
- Flooring, tile, trim, cabinet, and door installation experience
- Framing and structural repair experience
- Concrete repair or exterior construction experience
- Blueprint and schematic reading

- Takes ownership of their work

- Does not need to be constantly reminded or supervised
- Understands that working inside someone’s home requires professionalism and respect
- Is willing to help wherever needed instead of saying, “That isn’t my job”

- Values quality, honesty, accountability, and clear communication
What We Are NOT Looking For
This position will not be a good fit for someone who frequently misses work, arrives unprepared, leaves work unfinished, requires constant direction, or sacrifices quality to finish faster.
