About Us

Westrich Pacific Group is a multi-province construction and property development organization with operations across Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to lead on-site operations at Edmonton City Centre, one of downtown Edmonton's premier retail destinations, home to a mix of national anchor tenants, retail shops, restaurants, and office space.

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our Edmonton team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Accounting & Financial Reporting

Oversee full-cycle accounting, including GL review, coding, and bank/credit card reconciliations
Lead month-end close, including GST/HST filings and working papers
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with accounting standards
Support year-end audit, including audit schedules, documentation, and auditor inquiries

Team Support & Leadership

Provide guidance, training, and review of work for junior accounting staff
Collaborate with the Controller on financial reporting and special projects

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Stay current with CPA standards, ASPE/IFRS, and industry best practices

Qualifications & Experience

CPA designation (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5+ years of experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end, and audit preparation
Strong experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Construction or real estate industry experience is an asset
