Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, possess strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and be able to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring all food safety and food handling standards are met. The Bartender will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
Operate POS systems such as Touch Bistro POS for order processing and cash handling
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service in accordance with legal requirements
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Follow all food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred, especially in bartending roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable based on local regulations)
