Position Summary:

The Marketing & Customer Engagement Intern will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility, customer acquisition, and community engagement. This role provides structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in digital marketing, communications, and customer engagement within a growing logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning and executing digital marketing campaigns (social media, email marketing, online promotions).
Co-Create and manage marketing content including social media posts, graphics, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Assist with customer research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking to help refine marketing strategies.
Support website updates and digital presence improvements.
Assist with brand awareness activities, event marketing, community outreach, and partnerships.
Provide secondary customer support assistance as needed.
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics and prepare reports.
Collaborate with management on business development initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Strong interest in digital marketing strategies and analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to learn new tools and systems.
Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools (experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar is an asset).
Customer-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor.

Training & Development Opportunities:

Mentorship from experienced business leaders in logistics and marketing.
Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms and campaign execution.
Skill development in digital marketing, reporting, and customer engagement.

Hours & Duration:

35 hours per week
52-week internship
