Full job description

Job Summary

Are you a hard worker who likes to make things shine? We need two dependable cleaners to help maintain a school in the Duncan area. You will work shifts afterhours to sweep, mop, sanitize, and wax floors. The work is steady year-round. We offer extra hours during school breaks if desired.

Duties

Assist the main hand in all janitorial duties
Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across commercial spaces
Operate a traction floor scrubber (walk behind)
Conduct detailed cleaning of all areas including restrooms to ensure hygiene standards are met
Maintain cleanliness of wax floors, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
Seasonal cleaning of light fixtures and such
Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe work environment
Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently

Qualifications

Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is a plus but not mandatory
No criminal record
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently afterhours and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads
Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
